Medical report request

Insurance Reports, Subject Access Requests (SARs), and Private Letters Policy

Turnaround Time:
Our standard turnaround time for processing insurance reports, Subject Access Requests (SARs), and private letters is 4 to 6 weeks from the date the request is received.

Process Overview:

  • Requests are processed strictly in date order to ensure fairness.
  • All documentation is compiled by our administrative team and signed off by a GP.
  • Evidence will be drawn directly from the patient’s medical records. We do not provide opinions or interpretive commentary in reports or letters.

Payment Policy (Private Work):

  • For private letters and reports that incur a fee, please see our Private Fees page for more information.

SARs (Subject Access Requests):

  • SARs are provided free of charge in accordance with UK GDPR unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case a reasonable fee may be charged.
  • Identification may be required to verify the legitimacy of the request.

Important Notes:

  • Please ensure your request is specific and clear to avoid delays.
  • If you require urgent documentation, we regret that we are unable to prioritise requests outside of the standard processing order.
